The results of our second annual Amazon Software Poll for 2021 are in! We had hundreds of responses for this year's poll. Here's a quick summary of the winners. Scroll down below for a full overview of the results plus a couple of interesting insights we uncovered.

Product Launches & Giveaways
Getting initial sales velocity for your products is critical. Maintaining it is equally as important. That's why sellers use tools to help get product sales through product promotions.
Interestingly enough though, the majority of poll respondents are not using any product giveaway tool.
Rebate Key allows you to offer significant discounts (normally 50%+) to customers via rebates. Customers purchase your product at full price on Amazon (so you get credit for full-price sales) and Rebate Key sends cheques to the customer for the rebate amount. A valuable tool for product launches to get your first sales that still appear to be TOS compliant.
JumpSend (part of Jungle Scout) is another way to generate sales by giving away products at significant discounts (normally at 50%+ discounts). With JumpSend you are only credited with discounted sales, which often result in non-verified reviews and can also have weakened SEO impact. But, it is still an effective way to generate initial sales velocity.
Zon Blast (now under Six Leaf) is a rebate tool like the others. Used to be one of the most popular tools for giveaways. It has a similar pricing model per rebate to the others although requires a monthly account fee.
Last Launch is under the Seller Tools package of tools.
Snag Shout was one of the first giveaway services. They charge a fairly steep $5 of the rebate price though (i.e. $5 for a $100 product giveaway).
Viral Launch is one of the few giveaway services that charge a flat monthly fee (although it's steep at $200/month).
Boostrooster is one of the rebate launches tools that Amazon Sellers promote and track their new product launches. Its features include Facebook and ManyChat integration, rebate automation, campaign management and some others. They offer two plans, the Pro plan for $79/month and the Alpha plan for $129/month.
Keyword & Product Research
The ability to conduct product and keyword research at whatever stage in your ecommerce journey is crucial. You may be a new Amazon seller looking at how your product will fare during launch or a seasoned seller who is interested to know how a new product will stack up against the competition. Having product data and a reliable set of keywords is key to ensuring the longevity and saleability of your goods on Amazon marketplaces.
Helium 10 and Jungle Scout are still the kings of this category, with Helium 10 being the most popular at 34.2%. However, both of them took a hit this year, especially Helium 10, coming down from 55.2% last year.
Seller Tools is the third most popular, going from 3.8% last year to 13.3% in 2021.

A suite of tools similar to Helium 10 or Jungle Scout including reverse ASIN lookups, keyword estimator, product sales estimators, etc. Includes a Chrome plugin as well.
Their ultra-handy FBA Fee Calculator is free. Amazon Inventory Spy is also free. Has a one-week free trial for its full suite of products.

Helium 10 is one of the few tools in this category that has a variety of features that help Amazon sellers with a variety of tasks. Black Box, its native product research tool, allows for more insightful results. This feature includes data points that sellers will find useful when deciding which product to add to an existing brand.
Greg Mercer's Jungle Scout also comes with a cool product research feature. Not only does it allow users to check out how a product is doing on the Amazon platform but it provides data to determine just how profitable a product could be. All this happens on the Product Database.
Seller Tools is another suite of tools like Helium 10 and Jungle Scout. Its product research tool called PRIZM allows you to dial in on over 20 parameters for a completely customized product search and its keyword tool Keyword Wizard performs similarly to the other keyword tools out there.
Unicorn Smasher is great for one big reason – it's free. It organizes sales estimates on search results pages much like Jungle Scout does. Sales estimates are a little suspect but it's good for quickly seeing reviews, ratings, and sales ranks.
Viral Launch makes the list again with its suite of tools. In our testing, Viral Launch actually had the most accurate results.
ZonGuru tool is one of the options when it comes to managing your Amazon business, from product and keyword research.
Egrow has a free plan that included 5 searches per day in its keyword research tool and 5 searches per day in its product research feature. This software is good for newbies who are starting their selling businesses and want to understand the Amazon market potential.
Merchant Words is another Amazon seller and research tool that helps you to find product opportunities. This software supports 11 Amazon marketplaces.
PPC Management
Amazon is increasingly a pay-to-play marketplace. Managing PPC effectively (and keeping ACOS low) can be challenging when managing dozens or more ASINs. Software helps make this more manageable. Check out our free PPC guide for managing PPC effectively without software.
The majority of respondents do not use any PPC software, but for those who do, Sellics is the leading one.

Kinetic is from Viral Launch. It's one of the more affordable options and is fixed price irrelevant of your revenue level.
Ignite is from Seller Labs. It's one of the more expensive tools listed here and pricing is contingent on your revenue level.
A cheaper alternative to Sellics but without all the bells and whistles. Has all the core PPC components you need though including easy blocking of low-performing keywords, negative matching keywords/phrases from other campaigns, etc. A bit of an ugly interface.
Another suite of tools but their PPC management is the best. See our podcast episode on how we use it. Gets expensive for 7-figure sellers not grandfathered into one of their cheaper plans. Also, Sellics Benchmarker is free. This tool is the leading Amazon PPC evaluation tool with monthly insights.
Adtomic by Helium10 ADS and Prestozon
Adtomic represents the fusion between two Amazon advertising software, Helium 10 ADS and Prestozon. This PPC software tool provides data, automation and the ability to view and adjust the campaign metrics.
Teikametrics is a PPC management software that offers sellers keyword automation, bid automation, and campaign management for advertisers giving you the ability to set up automated bidding according to your ACoS or other goals. Their pricing is based on your monthly Amazon ad spend.
Zon.tools is one of the cheapest options inside the PPC Management category. This tool will help you to set up and maintain your Amazon campaigns easily.
Another software is another software that will help you to run your Amazon ads and reduce overall ACoS. The price depends on your monthly ad spend.
PPC Ninja is another set of tools for sellers and their prices range from $49 per month to $499$ per month depending on how many ASINs you want to advertise.
Reimbursement Services
Reimbursement services help sellers recover money from Amazon for things such as lost inventory.
Seller Locker knocked it out of the park in this category, with over 60% of the votes. Many responders still don't use a reimbursement service though, and if you're one of these sellers, you're flat out leaving money on the table. Recovering money from Amazon is one of the most important things you can do as a seller.
Analyze your data, and reconcile your inventory and file claims for maximum reimbursements on your behalf.
Helium 10 has a reimbursement tool that auto-checks five different reasons for FBA inventory reimbursements, and also provides you with pre-written messages to send along with your Amazon seller reimbursement requests. The tool is not as automated as some other services but also does not take a percentage of sales.
Review errors, file claims on your behalf and track your cases from the start to finish.
Upload your reports to Refund Pad and they'll provide you reimbursement reports. Then you manually claim the reimbursement with Amazon.
Seller Locker
Seller Locker is a fully automated reimbursement tool for Amazon. In combination with their software and a dedicated account manager, Seller Locker is a full-service reimbursement manager but comes at the cost of having to pay a percentage of sales.
Seller Bench
Seller Bench is another reimbursement service that handles every step of Amazon reimbursement recovery for FBA sellers. Seller Bench will only make money when Amazon pays back what they owe to the seller.
Sellerboard
Sellerboard is a software that will give you access to a set of tools including the refunds for lost inventory tool. You can get all of them for a fair price per month.
Refund Sniper
Refund Sniper system tracks the entire product cycle for each of the sellers' items to ensure all are accounted for. This tool will charge you 5% more than some other tools exposed above.
Repricing Tools
Repricing tools help sellers adjust their products' prices automatically and keep the offer visible and in contention for the Buy Box.
RepriceIt is the most preferred option for those who use repricing tools.
You can use Repricer Express on 11 different Amazon marketplaces. It provides a plethora of tools to help Amazon sellers to come up with customized pricing plans.
SellerActive
SellerActive tools will reprice your items automatically. The seller just needs to set a goal, a minimum / maximum price and set a target competitor. Also, this software comes with another set of features since it is also an automated ecommerce platform for inventory and fulfillment.
Seller Snap
This repricer tool AI algorithmic automatically selects the optimal strategy to outsmart the competition and helps Amazon sellers get the Buy Box at the highest possible price.
